15 Wonderful Entrepreneur Quotes That Will Get You Into Gear

How do you describe success?  Is it by working anywhere in the world?  Being your own boss and making your own schedule?  Leading others into running a business in the most efficient way possible?  Making large quantities of money?

The truth is, there really is no right or wrong answer to this question.  Success is a relative term, and everyone views it differently.  As a business owner, there will be times when it feels like success is a complete and total myth.  Clients will be scarce or dissatisfied with a service you provided, expenses will exceed revenue, or just when you've figured out the key to a social media platform's algorithm it'll all change and you'll lose 100 followers.

It's ok.  It may not seem so in the moment, but it is (or it will be very soon).  If you're in one of those bubbles where it seems like success is just entirely too difficult to obtain, read below to find our list of 15 entrepreneur quotes that will get you into gear!

3.  “Every time you state what you want or believe, you’re the first to hear it.  It’s a message to both you and others about what you think is possible.  Don’t put a ceiling on yourself.” – Oprah Winfrey

  1. This is just what I needed today. Sometimes when you're trying to get a business off the ground and floundering it's importnat to know that there were others before you who felt the exact same way. I especially liked the Mark Twain quote.

  2. Excellent quotes. I think the one that motivates me the most is the one from Dali (#9). Striving for perfection can stop you in your tracks as you realize you will never get it. It reminds me of a quote , but I am not sure of who said it "Perfection is the enemy of good enough".

  8. I love this! Some days as a blogger, it’s difficult to keep going when my numbers are small. Seems like all companies out there want huge numbers. That’s depressing at times. But when I look at the bigger picture of what I’ve built in just a few months, I know I’m clearly headed in the right direction. Because I started with nothing, and I’ve turned it into something. I just have to keep going and pushing through. This was exactly what I needed to read today. Thank you!

  10. One of my favorite quotes when things get tough and you start to flounder about, with no real plan:

"Now is not the time to be inactive. Now is the time to be PROACTIVE." Basically saying we can stand around all day panicking over this situation...or we can take steps to try and diffuse it before it becomes a BIGGER problem than it already is.
